by our "Diamond Explorer")
For diamonds mined , sourced and/or branded in Canada please submit our Customize Your Purchase and define your parameters as close & tight as possible
All
diamonds retrieved by our "Canadian Diamond~Explorer" are sourced
from an electronic pool of our US based suppliers: major importers and manufacturers.
Their prices are denominated in USD (US Dollars). The same diamonds may be
sourced on our global "Diamond~Explorer" at a lower price--those prices do
not, however, apply to diamonds that are imported to Canada. This is due to
Canada's "Excise Duty Tax". Please notice that even though those costs are
not mentioned nor clearly indicated on other US based sites--they always apply
upon landing of goods in Canada. You will be charged by the Carrier (Fed-Ex
etc.) upon delivery an amount equivalent to 10% of the diamond price due to
those taxes, GST, PST as well a high amount for the Carrier's 'Custom Brokerage
Services' (based on the diamond's high price). At Van-Daaz, on the other hand,
Canada's very first on-line diamond dealership (1995)-- the price generated
by our "Canadian Diamond~Explorer" includes already all border taxes
and at a reduced rate (based on our cost--rather than your paid price). Furthermore,
we save you all Custom Brokerage Fees. We will charge only for the fully insured
S&H of your diamond (approx. US$69.00 in most cases), as well as, of course,
GST (certain provencial limiations and/or extras may apply--please inquire).
Now you can have your peace of mind by affecting a safe
diamond purchase on the 'NET' by shopping Van-Daaz"--read
all about it!
And--you can always resort to customizing your diamond search.... a good idea if our "Diamond Explorer" does not return the sought and hoped for diamond. This is true, in particular, for Very Large Diamonds (over 7 Carats). If in need--do not hesitate to try it...
Remember: all prices are US Dollar denominated and payable. For an approximate CAD (Canadian Dollar) equivallence you may consult, without prejudice or any liability to Van-Daaz or them Xenon Labs (it is free, user-friendly & fast service; Do not, however, forget to return to us!...)
All shipments are "Next Day Air" category via Fed
Ex , fully insured, subsequent to your cleared payment and customs clearing
by us, and you may track your shipment on line using your Fed Ex Waybill
number (all and exact details are provided in our comprehensive correspondence).

Our Money Back Guarantee in Canada, on all imported diamonds, is a two-phase guarantee: in Phase I We will refund most of your paid price, less all accrued S&H costs, but we will also withhold an amount equivalent to the border charges (we provide details in advance in our comprehensive correspondence with you)--all paid by us to Customs Canada in advance. We will forward to you the withheld amount in Phase II of the refund, upon, pending and conditional on the refund of the same amounts to us by Customs Canada, based on our exportation of the returned diamond back to its US source. Remember that were you to purchase your diamond from a US-based diamond source, and to return your diamond for refund--you will have to attempt to collect the Excise Duty Tax and GST from Custom Canada by yourself-- a cumbersome procedure. US sources will NOT refund this amount, and, the amount will be, in addition, higher than the amount withheld by us (based on your retail price, since your are the 'importer', rather than on our cost when imported by us). When, however, you purchase from Van-Daaz-- WE collect the refund for you and at a lower rate than your full retail rate!
Notice that our data-base is available to other dealers
and the entire inventory is sold on a 'First Come-First Serve' basis. Therefore,
if one of the diamonds on our lists is to your liking please let us know as
soon as you can. Diamonds of good shopping value have very short 'shelf-life'
span! In comparing prices you will find out that our diamond prices are most
likely to offer you the best quality/price ratio on the 'Net'.
As a discriminating diamond buyer you know that the easy promise to
be the cheapest is really... of no value to you at all... Make a brilliant
choice. Choose the best value for the price rather than the best price for
no value. Shop your diamonds from Van-Daaz. Quality diamonds only are
our business--we are the Web's first dedicated diamond dealers in continuous
service--on-line since 1995.
On rare occasions results retrieved by our Diamond~Explorer"
may contain errors originating in material submitted electronically by importers
and manufacturers. In particular, Van-Daaz will bear no liability to erroneously
entered price information and will neither abide by nor proceed to conclude
deals based on such errors. Notice, however, that data-base errors are most
likely to be discovered prior to the conclusion of any purchase.
